Syntax on referencing functions in imported lua files

Just wondering exactly how I would do this.

The one problem I have atm is that all functions are in one file.

First, launch the builder.

Complexity behind the curtain

Hey guys, this is Ian from the development team.
So I've been working on the user analytics project for a while now and thought you guys and gals would appreciate a look behind the curtains. We've added a ton of features to our engine that all seem very straight forward and simple, but there's a lot going on under the hood and here is one example.

So the overall goal of user analytics is to record when a player does something and present it to the games maker in a way thats useful.

PA GameJam 09 Sponsor Page in WIldPockets

Below is a script and method for drawing a sponsor page on the GUI.

 

The first line will import the sponsorPage class. The second line will draw a GUI rect with the selected sponsor page. Pass displaySponsors a 1 to draw SponsorPage01. Pass it a 2 to draw SponsorPage02.

Embed link not working

Hi, if I want to see my game outside the view page, I got error message:
"Failed to load scene: Scene not available: MyName/MyGameName "

and quite long error description:

Wild Pockets Loader initialized.
Loader configuration read.
Engine '1.4' has been requested.
Querying server for engine details...
Launching engine...
Loader is not running in protected mode; launching engine normally.
Engine launched.
Loader waiting for IPC communication...
ON SCREEN
Cub one-time late initialization in progress..

LUA: Error: not enough memory

After some time elapsed spawning enemies, in the console debug log I get the following message and then nothing executes anymore.
LUA: Error: not enough memory
LUA: IN insert
Why does this happen?

I also would like to report some issues the I cannot reproduce:
A couple of C++ Runtime error (closes the plugin, IE restart needed )
A couple of Blue Screen of Death (plus machine reboot) caused by the video driver, never happened before installing the Wild Pockets plugin.
